Sovmya George, Esq. is the founder of the Law Office of Sovmya George. Attorney George earned her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the Massachusetts School of Law in Andover, MA in 2021 graduating with two (2) stellar awards: The Best Advocate Award and the Dean’s Award for her excellent academics in law school. Attorney George was admitted to the Bar in 2021 and holds professional memberships in AILA, SABA of Dallas, and WLA of Dallas.

Attorney George was born and raised in the United States but comes from a family of immigrants. Her parents immigrated to America, allowing Attorney George to be a part of the first American-born generation in her family. She understands and acknowledges the struggles families face trying to obtain legal status in the United States especially with the laws and processes of America which can be complicated. Attorney George founded her law office just to guide and support individuals and families through what can be complicated and overwhelming immigration processes.

Attorney George has a diverse experience in handling and winning personal injury cases, workers compensation cases, and immigration cases. She has handled a vast number of Asylum and Cancellation of Removal cases where she would conduct trials and successfully win Green Cards for her clients. Attorney George also has rich knowledge and experience handling Employment-Based petitions and guiding clients through the entire process.

In her free time, Attorney George enjoys spending time with her husband, eating good food, and being out in nature.
